I wanna visit a friend in Austria, Steyr to be exact.. Im in Niedersachsen, anyone know any cheap transport option..
Train in 120euro, flights is a little cheaper but not much!!
HELP if possible!!

Same answer as to all "How do I get to X cheaply?" questions: Mitfahrgelegenheit. You're unlikely to find one direct, but it will get you to Linz at least (anyone driving to Vienna can drop you off there).

Do you think trying to take an Austrian vacation is wise when you're trying to apply for welfare?
This kind of stuff bothers me. People complaining about not finding work but still finding the time to go jetting off to Mallorca, Austria, Italy and the like.
If you find a proper job, you won't have to worry about a ticket being only €120.
