Consignment clothing stores in Berlin

So after being here for a couple months, i have completely stopped wearing some of my clothing and gained a little wieght so some stuff doesnt fit anymore, and as i doubt that ill be shrinking down anytime soon id like to rid myself of it and make a little money in the process. Does anyone have any recomendations of a consignment shop, preferably one that has english speaking personelle?

that's a toughy Karli...All the used clothing stores I know are clearly by donation, or esle they're really expensive and I have a feeling they buy it from somewhere. You could try some of them though.
Also, I haven't seen a lot of used clothing stores here...people are really into the 'vintage thing', especially the 'ugly polyester vintage' thing.
BUT I don't know everything. I've mostly only kicked around Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg and Charlottenburg, and there's a whole lot of city outside that!

Two suggestions - try selling it at the flea markets yourself... or... List it on eBay... (then you can keep some of the cash yourself.)

your best bet would be to pay €6 and rent a square meter at the boxhagener platz flea market and try and sell them there. You can usually earn a fair amount for them. Don't know of any consignment shops.

These two were suggested by a friend but I must admit I have never got around to popping along to see what they're like!

Von Anderen, Kollwitzstr. 92 (near Danziger str.) They take stuff on Wednesdays and Saturdays after 11 am. they only accept stuff from 25 people a day, so it's best to go early as there are often quite a few people there already when they open. Basically you fill out your name on a form, hand them the stuff and then you come back in a few days to see what they have accepted and to take back the rest. They leave the stuff in the shop for a month and you get 40%.

The other one is called No Socks No Panties, Stargarder str. 10, 23272234. You can just take stuff in anytime, but sometimes they are full and won't take anything.
