Hello everybody

I have been
babysitting for a very nice german family for two months now, monday-fridays afternoons. I usually take the kids (two girls, 5 and 6) to a playground but I am afraid they have started to get bored of it. I am new to Munich so I was wondering if anyone out there has any advice on what other activties I could plan for them.
Does anyone now if library storytelling exists in Munich?
Thanks a million for your time!
Veronica.

i am not sure that is a good idea, but Circus Krone is supposed to do a great show.

Search, CocoLoco and Lollihops. These are indoor play places. Awesome for that age group.
take care,

The libraries usually have a story hour I think once a week at most locations. Here is a
link in German that shows the times at the various locations.

parks, beergardens (many have playgrounds), zoo, cocoloco, Bavaria Film, biking, rollerblading, museums, it's outside of Munich and I don't know where, but there's a fairyland something or other, near Strasslach (sp?) there's a cute organic petting farm (and I know there are others elsewhere too), swimming, tennis, soccer, just going for a walk to get ice cream. The list can continue...
Some libraries will on occasion have storyhour, some have puppet shows. I think one of the English bookshops/libraries on occasion has something in English for kids (or used to).

Thanks everyone for their comments. I already tried the library storytelling and they really liked it

There IS?! I drive through Straßlach at least twice a week and never realized such athing existed. What IS an organic petting farm actually?

It’s a farm where they grow 6 legged organics in little silver and green pots. They are only fed on plastic and red wine which gives them their unusual purple glow that can only be seen when they are underwater on Sundays

Oooh, really?

I just think it's a bit weird to call a petting farm "organic" when the animals would be alive and living outdoors in nature on any petting farm. Or? It's the "organic" part that confuses me.
