I'm kinda tempted ... just unsure whether to resist the temptation...

Oh, Green Tea- must I be the devil on your shoulder every time?

You need to give the Bad Girl in you in a bit more executive power (especially at the weekends).
In case you need to be persuaded: Come on, GT- it's a Friday night- you have the entire rest of the weekend to recover/be productive. You've worked hard all week and should reward yourself with the company of your fellow TTers and some fine happy hour cocktails. You
deserve it. You know it makes sense.

@ JennyL: Trouble is, the Bad Girl in me is already enjoying more executive power than is good for her (and me). I feel myself being dragged into this.
Anyway, the good thing about resisting temptation is that it makes it all the more delicious when you do finally succumb (says the Bad Girl in me

)

Such a nice acronym as well: Pay As You Go - welcome to the world of PAYGO. We are still not definites.
Friday: I'll be there.
Above quote: I understand "pay as you go" to mean, drink-by-drink. I assume this is what everyone else means, too, to avoid problems with the bar.
but if you think about it, it's kind of incorrect, because when you "go" it would mean pay at the end of the night.
Or perhaps it means when you go to the toilet.
On that note, Bottoms up!

Editor Bob- rest assured, Cocktail nights usually go over quite well without any major problems (I think...

). I'm exhausted, so I think I'm going to skip it tonight. You kids have fun though.
Edit: Just kidding. I can't pass up a cocktail night- especially after the week I've had.

I think EB might be thinking of the
problem we had at Roosevelt at a cocktail night last month, which IIRC is actually what inspired the creation of the PAYG TT wiki page.
I won't be there tonight, but hope everyone has a good time.

Was fun last night - but getting the cocktails was the problem more than paying for them.
Rum Runner: no good
Flying Kangaroo: good
Chili Con Carne: tasted ok, but had these huge white beans in them, kinda strange.
Pricing: moderately priced for Munich.

However enough good cocktails passed my lips to make up for the awful tinto!

I was one of the last to leave, but had been on pay as you go all night. The waiters mentioned that there were a few orphaned cocktails at the end of the evening. I thin it was 3 zombies, but in my alcaholic stupor I wasn't sure of anything.
There was no suggestion that the four of us left at the end should pay for them, and I suspect,
Negroni's were well pleased to have sold 150 to 200 cocktails to our group, and could easily swallow the loss. After that night's business the last thing they want is us not coming back.
Negron's is owner run? so I suppose the accounting for unpaid cocktails gets a lot simpler. They compare the loss to their evening's profits and all is well. Different if a waiter has to carry the loss themselves. Hope this is not an encouragement for more criminals to do a drink and run there.

wow, that is good, I was so tanked I probably would have paid the bill, then had to walk home, as I spent my taxi fare
or get into a huge arguement with them and would never be able to go back there again!
