I sort of hear the Sky newscasters saying, "So and so, with this report" and handing over to the reporter on location. So report works for me. Or news item.
I'm nearly sure there is as pecific word...trying to descibe bonus material on a dvd...it can be either 30min ling or be made up of 10
"Einzelbeiträge" (10 different items can be clicked)
Thanks for your help

Individual reports? DVDs are split into chapters, but that term isn't used for news items.

I like that one in context with bonus material.
Problem is that feature is commonly used to describe the main film.. : (
and items is more physical that filmish...

I'm confused as to what you're asking. Do you want a term for news items or DVD features? It would help a lot if you explained the context and provided the German sentence in full.

If it's for a DVD, perhaps you could use "Extras" or "Bonus material".

Additional segments on a DVD disc (audio tracks or other images) are often just called bonus content.
