27 year old Australian, just moved here for work and don't know anyone!
Who is out there and where are the good places to go?
Cheers, Em
Welcome to Toytown.
There seem to be about
20 TTers in Bonn (and probably more, but these 20 or so have listed Bonn as their location). I'm afraid I can't give you any practical advice about Bonn since I've never been there, but I'm sure someone will do so before long. I hope you'll meet some nice people soon. All the best!

Hi there!
I am a German trainee teacher from Cologne but I work in Bonn. I am looking for native speakers to speek English from time to time. Next tuesday I will meet an English guy in Bonn in order to talk. You can come too and I could bring another German friend, so we could speak English-German and you can find out more about the city and the area perhaps.
See ya...

For personal messaging, yes, do as Small Town Boy says.
There's no need to be nervous or shy about publically posting suggested meet up times and locations, however. In fact, it is better to post in public. That way more people know what's happening and will be able to join you.

I can help you with whatever info you need. You have to ask for it. For housing, I will suggest you to lookup in the local newspaper site for housing:
KalaydoFor learning German, this is a good institute in Bonn:
steinke-institutAnd as you are Korean, this restaurant
Shilla might be of interest to you.

Bandu - Thanks, but I think you are replying to a post in another thread - possibly to a homeless, non-German speaking korean. That's not me. The person you are message probably won't see your message here.

Hi, I've just discovered Toytown. I'm a brit living in Bonn for almost a year now, I know a few Germans and other nationalities but I'm starting to miss relaxed conversation in English. Does anybody fancy a pub evening or cafe/lunch?
