Just been past my streetcorner local and the price of an Augustiner helles has gone from €2.50 to € 2.80.
Which puts my other local with Augustiner helles or Edelstoff for € 2.60 back in the cheapest position.
With 3 Euro beers becoming the rules rather than the exception, what kind of beverage prices are you paying?

Call me an old fart but it strikes me as rich that you go to a pub, pay 3+ euro for the same bottle you could open for 50 cents at home. Paying for the service, the ambience and so on in the bar is all very well but a 6x mark up strikes me as weird. Going into a bar and paying for helles from a holzfass is an entirely different matter.

Does the airport count as town? Because Airbräu is €2 per 0.5l if you buy it in the 2 litre or 5 litre jug.

My local, The Radlwirt on St Cajetanstr, still serves a mass of Paulaner for 4.60, which i find hard to ignore at that price.

It's that price if you buy it in a half liter glass as well! Well tasty too!

EDIT: Sorry no it's gone up to the frankly outrageous price of €2,10 due no doubt to the increase in Merkelsteuer!
hopfen dodle which don riina sent me to the other day do a mass for five euro. Augustinerstueberl seems to also be very cost worthy.

It sort of depends on Vassili's mood but we get two each Weißbier and Helles for €9 at the most at his place in Riesenfeldstrasse.

How disgusted was I when on Faschingsdienstag the Augustiner in the Fußgängerzone charged EUR 3.80 per half litre. When I questioned the price, the waiter answered that it was only because of the extra cost of hiring the DJ and music for the day and the prices would revert back to EUR 3.30 the following day. That really hurt!

My local ubahn station sells beer at 1.80 a bottle, and they have a table where you can stand and drink it.

Take a moment for the poor sods living in Paris where a pint can easily cost you €7 and considering the very same can be had in the nearest hypermarché for about 40 cents we are talking highway effing robbery. What is it with the prices in Paris (France in general I guess)?

Your own fault for drinking French beer.
Insomniac Pub (Alex's Place)
Located just a 100m from Isator where Herrnstraße deadens on the Thomas-Wimmer-Ring.
2,50€ for every beer I've ever ordered Augistiner, Becks, Pilsner Urquell etc. Alex runs the place and is almost always behind the bar.

Nope, we had Franziskaner at "Le Whitney", a rugby pub in Paris, and it cost just as much.

I noticed that
Feuerberg (near
Kolumbusplatz) has beers for 2€ on Tuesday nights as a regular offer. They have Augustiner and Löwebräu, I think...
