Concert: Idlewild @ Atomic Cafe

Idlewild are back with a cracking new CD or download whichever you go for. Have seen them many a time and they'll be well worth checking out in a small club like this.

Pretty small venue for them!

Last time they played to around 200 people in the Feierwerk if that, most of them ex-pats. Don't think they have a lot of success over here. Still worth it for the usual under 15€ Atomic Cafe prices.

Do you reckon I'll need to get a ticket in advance for this one, or just pay at the door? Not sure what the score is for bands like this at AC. Thanks

Been umming and aahing about this one, some odd bands sell out AC and others don't, MT still have tickets though and I might well go.

I'd be surprised if this one sold out. If MT have still got tickets you can definitely take a chance on the door.

Seeing them at close range is a good thing. Hopefully the Emotwat:Properfolk ratio will be favourable and they'll put on a nice, sweaty show. Who else is going? Apart from the obvious candidates.

Thought that was great and just the right amount of people in the audience. Can't stand those jam packed gigs in there.

Shame we didn't get Film for a Future but Suntan Polaroid made up for it.
