Pregnancy photographers in the Mainz area

hey there, i was just wondering if there are any photographers in the mainz area that takes pregnancy pics...if you know of any please let me know.. thanks

what's the difference between a 'pregnancy photographer' and a 'normal photographer' if I may ask? Are some special skills required to fit the bump into the picture? Fascinating

of course there is a difference. I took a wonderful photo of my ex, and Siobhan loves it. Lighting is crucial and you have also to make it a romantic photo.

Just as some people specialise in wedding photos, others in sports, there are photographers who specialise in pregnancy photos. It's not a stupid question.

I think it is PC code for a "female" photographer.

I never said it was, I just wondered why there was such a specific branch of photography and what the relevant skills were. I would have thought wedding photographers also take e.g. family pictures etc

I can recommend Studio Rimbach in Mainz, right by the Schillerplatz.
My sister has had her "pregnancy photos" taken there and they turned out beautiful.

the things you learn. I never knew there was such a thing as pregnancy photographer let alone people getting pregnancy pictures taken.

They are not "pregnancy only photographers" ;-).
Just regular photographers that take photos of different things...
This is a portrait studio that also takes nude/pregnancy/baby photos, ect...

Nude pregnant baby shots? Wow. Sounds kinda kinky but would still like to see some.

Maybe the studio in Mainz, but - as already mentioned - some photographers specialise in pregnancy photos, others in wedding photos, etc., and they don't like being referred to as "regular photographers".

For the record, my pregnancy photos were done by a 'generalist' and they are beautiful, romantic, and super sexy (I have solo shots and some with my husband). Unfortunately, his studio is not near Mainz. By the way, I am the mom of a 10 month old girl and live in Mainz (Old City). I am desperately trying to find a daycare for my daughter, as I must return to work in August. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
