Do they accept dogs in the place? I just moved down and my pup isn't used to being left alone in our hotel apt. It would be good to know, for future reference.

Now that we almost agree that Wed at Sitar must be set in stone, does anybody else think we deserve a discount at Sitar?
I mean if Sitar has to stay then we need an incentive for bringing them regular business.
I am more than willing to step forward and do the negotiation using my charm, sex appeal and even pouty lips (only as a last resort though).
I propose either a flat discount (say 10%) or perhaps first beer free for everybody.
Any other proposals?

did we even get a mango shot last night ?
A discount or a 'sweetener' as my da calls it would be nice
roots
Oct 14 2004, 1:05 pm
Nope, no mango shots and even the papad came very late. All the more reason we demand a cut if we should go there every week. I did like my Kadai Chicken though.

Hello TT,
I came to Germany two years back to do my Master's here and now that i have graduated, i will be leaving for a big break (3 months) back to India on Thursday.
Though i'm not a regular for many TT events, I've met some wonderful people from TT -- Showem, Topsy and others from Badminton... and they are really great to be with.
I was wondering how to meet others when this Briyani night showed up in curry night.
The number is already touching 27 in the reservations page...
Hope i'll get to meet many TT'ers whom i've only met online before i leave...
I'll be back in Jan end next year to stay in Munich for another three years and hope to have fun with you people...
Meet you there in the special
curry night tomorrow..

Cheers,
'Buzz

Roots,
I thought it was great last week considering I ate three full plates of the stuff. I truly ate nothing on Thursday.
I also thought it was vegetarian since you grabbed all three pieces of meat in the first two spoonfuls you took from the bowl.
Is it Sitar again tomorrow night? I might be able to make it. What time?

So which restaurant are you meeting at for the real real curry? Enquiring minds (and palettes) want to know.
Since you asked I will tell you. I am meeting a few freinds at Ganga at Baaderst. 11, at 8:00. You are more than welcome to join us.
@Aquatic Marangue
Please DO NOT think i am stepping on traditional curry night at Sitar. My meeting with others tomorrow is entirely independant of Sitar. Ofcourse anybody is welcome to join us. I assume the regular Sitar night is also on tomorrow so you have a choice.

No problem - as I said before, I don't mind other people organising other curry nights (and judging by the number of people we've been having at some of the recent events, it might actually benefit from being split into two separate things). I only get a bit irritated when people try to make me move or change my
own event

Ok, where did you get this idea that we don't speak english? We speak only English cuz there are so many even among us Indians who understand only English. Once in a while a couple of us say something to eachother in Hindi but 99% of the time we speak only english.
