mmmmmm
not many sign-ups for
curry night tonight. I would have thought it would make a nice break from the Wisen for most people but alas it seems most wish to Wiesn on tonight.

Everyone's watching the big match -
Oldham v Spurs...

Seriously - it usually picks up on the Wednesday doesn't it?

I love to come for Curry but as I told Graham before, it's
Sex and the City Night...
Next week I'll make it, if I'm not feeling to bad after Wies'n on Tuesday.

Sex and the City night has been cancelled! I have this on proper authority
So you all have to come to Curry Night instead!

8PM!!!
Excuse me but to the newbies here. This Curry nighat starts at 9pm for a reason. AM & friends are at Inlinga till 9pm THAT is thte reason for it starting at 9pm. In my opinion it is not for newbies to change existing events such as this. I hope the next
curry night start at its usual time of 9PM.

Graham you're an idiot.
So what happened with the curry. Surely if you guys showed up at 9 the others would still have been there, oder?

Excuse me? If you read my post from 1 week ago, you'll see that it was me that changed the time to 8pm.
It was changed because neither I or AquaticMeringue were planning to be there, and most of the other regulars prefer to start a bit earlier.
It's not like the time was changed at the last minute. You had a whole week to say something if you objected to it.

I hadn't been planning to go, so I hadn't bothered checking the time - I just happened to be leaving the Wiesn at 8:45pm (feeling rather hungry after they forgot my halbes hendl) and NoGo called me to ask if I was going to the curry, so I thought "why not?".
We ended up going to the Sitar though (couldn't remember where the Swagat was), and had a great curry. How was Swagat, by the way?

Ah! back to Sitar eh?
I don't think last week's lack of response was because people didn't like the change. I think there were too many events happening that night.
Anyway, I am still up for a change (
Swagat perhaps?) if others concur.
Ciao

Well there are 8 people signed up already, the Sitar is fine with me. Personally I would prefer it earlier, but I suppose if everyone gets there for 9pm there should be any problem. (some of us have a bed time you know

Well, I've always wanted to try Curry Night (even though I cook Indian food twice a week at home) and I've had a stress-filled, crappy day at work so I'm in (and will be drinking before I get there, after I get there and probably after we're done!)

Why does curry sometimes wake me up at 5am? I was fine the week before. I reckon there is a specific spice or summat that I am kinda allergic to. Nice way to break up the week however :-)

Lamb kabab sucked last night. Having tried 3 or 4 lamb items so far I conclude that lamb at Sitar basically sucks. Stick to chicken or vegetarian.
Still up for a change.

Typically, most people don't sign up until the last minute - but it's also true to say that some weeks are quieter than others. Even 8 would be higher than many weeks.
