offal of what animal? I don't think you can get any of that in Indian restaurants anyway.

What about New Delhi ( one of the few places which serves south Indian cusine too ) or Sangam ( I went there a few weeks back, and the food was pretty good) !!
Kza
Oct 25 2005, 10:07 am
@roots Well from whatever animal, just the standard animals that they make meat out of. Hmm now that I think about it I guess most offal comes from cows doesnt it, which doesnt seem to be used as much (at all?) in indian food. Yeah i have never really noticed it in any resturants, but havent looked much yet. Just wondering if offal is found in Indian cooking at all really. I might have to settle for what I come up with at home.. Like my venison curries

@Devil
New Delhi doesn't serve SI cuisine eventhough they have it on menu.
Sangam is an option. Last CN there was in July so I guess we could do it again if others want. It is also in
Schwabing.
@Kza
yeah, I don't think you can get it at Indian resturants. You have to do it at home.

I would go for Sangam, but my vote is mainly based on location. I haven't been to any of these.

clepto, we normally pick the restaurant by Monday itself. It is already late.
Anyway, with your vote Sangam wins.

So Sangam (the confluence) it is.

Don't worry, I am sure my half-Canadian friend will keep us some seats. Today, by special request, the BF is having a curry with us.

well guys...thanks for a really good night. was impressed with the food (although it was really TOO TOO hot) and the way they tried to cater to everybodys wishes. Service was good and efficient. Maybe a tad overpriced? All in all 'I' had a good night out

Thanks!!

A nice, relatively quiet
curry night. Or was I the only quiet one? Nice company as usual, lots of fun at the
Twisted Bavarian afterwards. Had an excellent Karahi Murgh, spicy but not too hot, tender juicy chicken, onions and more onions!

Once again met a few TT'ers I haven't met before (InflatableWoman comes to mind) and was glad to establish that TT had so many other pirates, zombies, ninjas and zombie-ninja-pirates besides myself!

I have to rate Sangam as one of the best.
It has the best interior among all the Indian restaurants we have visited so far--very cozy and and very inviting.
The owner turned out to be a good friend of mine (he also owns Sangeet) so we got good service and the usual goodies. My grilled lamb was great--very tender and spicy. I tasted a couple of things from others and they were very tasty. Good food, good service, great company as lot of fun. TwiBa afterwards was a good way to end the night/morning.
One of the highlights of the evening:
Mariana told me she hasn't been offered to suck on something by a guy in a long time so I offered her mine. She really really enjoyed it and asked for more. I obliged and she just couldn't seem to get enough of it as she just kept sucking and sucking. I had no idea she liked lemon so much.

South Carolina,Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana,Texas,Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina...
As for the events of 1897 try

Well I wasn't there but I have to agree with TT. Coolerking playing backgammon I can just about believe. But where did that list of states come from? Did the question really arise at the TB that night? If so then we'll have to toodle to the TB more often after curries. It always seems to turn into a surreal experience.
