Can I just apologise for any embarrasment I may have caused by loudly suggesting that the twins from Bros looked like the products of Nazi racial superiority experiments.
Wow, what did I miss?

Think Kera and I might try to make it this week. What's the restaurant and where is it? It'll be our virgin TT experience. Take it easy on us...
Its usually decided on Monday or tuesday, so just watch the thread or the sign up list, and we will let you know!

Any ideas? Any thoughts? Haven't been to in a long time- Surahi, Saffron, Neu Dehli, Ganesh, or do we want to try something new like India Town or Mehek or Santoor?

Ganeesha is always worth a visit but Neu Dehli has gone way down hill since Tandoori opened.
Do you mean Santoor in Englschalking? Very good restaurant but a bus ride from U4 Arabella park or a walk from S8 Englschalking.
India Town, irrc, sucks. Don't know Mehek.

Just make up your minds please. Looking at the food in my fridge and what I had for supper tonight, I'm getting desperate. As I'm not allowed to make any suggestions, curry up !!

i think he means newbies to curry night can't set the restaurant on the sign-up sheet. this doesn't mean you can't make a suggestion, though.
Ganesha seems to have a fair consensus.

Samrat and Santoor both have some special "gastro-tour" on tomorrow night as part of Indian week. Then again, that may make it difficult to accomodate a crowd of 30 TT'ers.
More tea, Vicar?

Would love to come, but curry is still verboten. I would be shitting mustard for the next two weeks. I thought the belly was better, and drank a skinful on the weekend to celebrate.
Bad case of Bombay revenge without the, er "Bombay", I'm afraid.

Excuse Me!
Didnt we decide last week on the place near the Arc so we can watch the football afterwards?
Carm
Oct 11 2005, 12:09 pm
Well then that would be Deeba, Saravor, Noor Jahn, India Town, (the one on Franz Joseph str) or Surahi. Since I do remember the talk about the Arc.
I don't care! Just someone make a decision!

Good choice. I like Deeba. They make the best chicken tikka. Yeah the restaurant is small for big crowds though.
I am still a doubtful cuz I am gonna be in Starnberg most of the day tomorrow. If I come back early, I will join.

Every time Deeba is mentioned somebody says it's too small. They have to be reminded that we held the Insanity Spice event there to which at least 30 turned up and there was no problem.

Damn - I missed the oppurtunity...chicken nearly melted in my mouth, yummy, open wine list was a bit disappointing, bottled wine list just about made up for it, excellent service, good atmosphere, pity I might miss the next two, depends if I manage to escape from Colditz or not, hope to be back.

I know I am probably being a little premature here but I was at the new Taj Mahal place in Neuhausen on Wednesday (close to Rotkreuzplatz U-Bahn) and I have to say the place does not suck. Very tasty curries indeed and a very wide choice. Free mango liquor after the meal as well.
Just a suggestion for next week. Seems I am an Eunuch and can't make official requests yet.
