Shouldn't we vote on the location? A pole?

Could be tempted as Swagat is local for me! If I come that'll be the 3rd night in a row out with TT - sad or what?! Anyway, I'm off work Thurs. so I suppose I could... won't sign up though just incase I don't come.

Is
curry night a democracy or benign dictatorship? Lets have a vote on it.

As Roots mentioned: Before we have a referendum it ought to be pointed out that now people have signed up because it's where it's set to be. And some people who have signed up might not log on again now before tomorrow evening and wouldn't pick up on a change of venue should there be one. Not very practical unfortunately...
@Major: (hi) what's this about a winky pole? (sorry)
@Roots: have you really never been to Ganga? It is my favorite in Munich - excellent food, excellent service. And shame on you for taking the Biryani place off the banned list!

Hi Tim,
back from a home-induced-TT-banning?

What's this about a banned list? Poor Roots must hate me for this, look what I started!

Well, I haven't signed up yet, because I was hoping it was someplace new (for me at least). Whatever, I might go for an ethiopian instead

Tim: Tandoori was taken off the banned list for practical reasons - nowhere else we could think of was near enough to Die Bank to walk there afterwards. Shame on us
And yes, Ganga has been visited a couple of times. For the first ever "break-away"
curry night I believe, although it wasn't intended to be such.

Ah! the classic TT trend--blame it on America or blame it on Roots.
Yes Sir, I have been to Ganga many times. Infact I know the owner very well. Its your fav restaurant because of Anna, the nice Slovakian waitress innit? You go there cuz of Anna just like I go to Bar Centrale every Thursday cuz of your girlfriend

My point was that very often the curry has a disproportionate number of men and is, in that sense, not reflective of the real world. Mind, it's all about the curry so I wouldn't much care who's sitting next to me.

Helena I think you'll find at least Roots and Texas T already there and I won't be much later either.

Major B I'd leave out one of the three...

35 peeps already!!
Good thing the restaurant is huge. We will take over the entire middle section where we sat last time.
Exile, Yes I will need to have a chat with the guy beforehand about ordering in phases and paying separately. We did that last time and there was no problem.
Yes, we should have slips tonight. I don't have any printed but at least we should write down what we had on a piece of paper.

haven't had a curry since, oh, the last time i was in the uk. so, since my wife's off in wiesbaden on business for a couple of days, i think i'll attend my first TT event to keep me entertained in the meantime. as i don't know a soul, i'll just head for the large group of english speaking curry fanatics i guess; and then i'll recognise some faces from the comedy club last sunday night i suppose!
