Is curry night a democracy or benign dictatorship? Lets have a vote on it.
As Roots mentioned: Before we have a referendum it ought to be pointed out that now people have signed up because it's where it's set to be. And some people who have signed up might not log on again now before tomorrow evening and wouldn't pick up on a change of venue should there be one. Not very practical unfortunately...

Well, I haven't signed up yet, because I was hoping it was someplace new (for me at least). Whatever, I might go for an ethiopian instead and catch you all afterwards for a drinky.
Tim: Tandoori was taken off the banned list for practical reasons - nowhere else we could think of was near enough to Die Bank to walk there afterwards. Shame on us
And yes, Ganga has been visited a couple of times. For the first ever "break-away" curry night I believe, although it wasn't intended to be such.

My point was that very often the curry has a disproportionate number of men and is, in that sense, not reflective of the real world. Mind, it's all about the curry so I wouldn't much care who's sitting next to me.

Well, I had my Ethiopian meal last night (yum yum at blue nile), so I need to grab my last chance at curry for a while (and, though it's not a new place, we all know it's not a bad place)

haven't had a curry since, oh, the last time i was in the uk. so, since my wife's off in wiesbaden on business for a couple of days, i think i'll attend my first TT event to keep me entertained in the meantime. as i don't know a soul, i'll just head for the large group of english speaking curry fanatics i guess; and then i'll recognise some faces from the comedy club last sunday night i suppose!

Ok, just signed up for the Aspirin-Helles-Curry-Mix. Will be a short and painful night for me. I'm sacrificing myself for the noble cause of curry!
I was planning to Gunthers later to watch the world cup quals. So how early do people usually come for the curry night.
spunk, some of us will be there around 6:30. We start ordering food around 8:00. By the time everybody is done eating, it is easily 10:30-11:00
