For the curry I agree somewhere we can sit outside would be nice for a change now we have good weather.

Besides Taj Mahal which is newly opened, does anyone know anything about Noor Jahan? They have a nice beergarden as well. They will soon celebrate their 15th year in business. It is only a couple hundred yards from Münchner Freiheit. They were selling their food on Leopoldstrasse this weekend.

I was there years ago. Don't remember anything particularly about it, other than the beergarten is pretty nice. I'd say nicer than Taj Mahal's, because it's in the back as compared to being on the corner of 2 busy streets.

I'm voting for Taj Mahal too... Was there last night, and the food is pretty good, and sitting outside, the traffic isn#t really a problem...

As for the level of heat, they always make a medium a true medium and a certain gent's vindaloo was suitably hot.

Yep, I'll probably be there. Depends on the state of my body and the state of the weather, but if I'm not abducted by aliens (whether physically or mentally) then I'll be there. Early. And I shall leave early again too
I won't be online again before then, so I'll just turn up around 6:30-6:45. Allowing for the 70-odd percentage likelihood of my probability drive not packing up.

What are the tables like outside, I mean, just groups of 4 or? I'd prefer a larger table so you can talk to as many people as possible. What happened at the Ganesha was that whilst people were waiting for food inside quite a few went outside to the tables and had drinks before returning inside for the food. I'm open to suggestions mind; I'm easy going.

Roots, what a fantastic pic! Obviously a daytime pic and manipulated but still nice!

Staff is lovely in there. Always shake my hand when I go in, you should like the vindaloo KM. Only place that told me no you can't put spinach in that dish, it will taste nasty and told me the alternatives. The Keema Naans are good too.

Somebody please try chicken naan and let us know how it is. I am still hunting for the best chicken naan in town and so far my vote goes to Ganesha.

yeah, I had fun. the food was fine, and Wassermanns was slow, but the company was great.

I had a really good evening, more so because it was outside! So refreshing to be outside for a change; anyone notice that inside was completely empty!?!

Glad you enjoyed the Wassermann too but unfortunately I had to make a move. I'll be there Saturday late afternoon though!

a horse's neck is a distinctly wasserman's delight... i don't believe i've ever had a cocktail quite like it. medicinal.
