I had to go to Rosenheimerplatz this afternoon and stopped at Ganesha for my favourite chicken naan. Guys, you have try this. Itz the best in town so far. It is not even on the menu but the cook makes it so well. Yum.

cannot make it today. Swamped with work!

Xargon this is getting serious. Missing Star Wars is one thing, but missing curry night. ..

After a few round of free shots, to drunk! Enjoyed the evening, looking forward to going back there someday. Looking forward to next week!!! Food was great by the way, and nice to meet some new people- okay, I've seen them before, but never got the chance to talk!!!

One of the nights where everything went well. My food was great. Staff was very friendly (well the waiter turned out to be one of my old friends so it was even better). Those who left early missed out on free drinks. Few of us stayed until almost 1 a.m. Enjoyed meeting new faces. Swagat is definitely a place to go back not just for food and service but also because it has a very cozy and inviting atmosphere. Two thumbs up from me.

Our first curry night with Toytown- and we live in Munich since 12 years! Very nice people, thanks for a great evening with lots of interesting talk, free drinks P and nice indian food. we will come again.

#56 wasn't what i expected (well, i wanted to try something new, no?!); company was great, certain topics not. unfortunately didn't get to know everyone. but the verdict: 'TWAS WERRY NICE!! thanks Roots for organising!

Finally got to meet the infamous Roots Food was good (especially the #536 eh Olli?? Oops, sorry, not supposed to mention that! Will probably venture out to another curry night sometime.

Heck how did you guys get back so early? It took me an hour and a half to get home so it must have been a good evening! Or maybe I just need to work out which time zone I'm in
I wouldn't put the food up there with say Shiva but it was good, and it's all the other things that Oli mentions that count anyway. And certainly no complaints about the quantity of food!
Too many free drinks perhaps. Who were the last group but one to leave? Exile and Ski? We got your free drinks too

It was a fun night... great company, great location, okay food. Shame I didn't stick around... missed out on the free drinks again... damit!

although your dream of me fighting to sit next to you did not come true, i was actually "arguing" with someone next to you last night - about some silly political decision of my country! NEVER able to run away from it

I agree it was very nice. The food could have been slightly hotter but the spices were nice so that made up for that. I'd go back there sometime, and I recall Roots was also asking them about sorting out a buffet in there sometime.

MG, like I said I know you from somewhere before. I can't put my figner on it but I will.

Guys, if the food is not hot or strong enough just tell the waiter and they will enhance it for you. It is much easier to add spices than removing them and thats why most cooks make it lighter cuz they are mostly used to making for germans. So next time please just tell them as soon as you find that it is not to your liking.

All in all, I really had a good time and I had no complaints with my food and Oli was raving about his Achari Ghost (#536 ofcourse)

Really enjoyed it last night. I would definitely go back there again, but will probably ask for a hotter dish next time.

Ski and I left just as the rest of you moved to the cosy table. Glad my extra free drink went to a good home

Partly b/c none of you ordinary folk were given the superior menu which had food on it you never even dreamed of, e.g. #536 – they saw me and immediately gave me the royal menu whilst treating you as commoners

Seriously though, where did that extra menu come from, and how come noone else had it? It was not a Tagesmenu, btw.

I'd like to suggest Sarovar for next week. It will be my last curry night till I return in december I've heard really great things about the place, some say best in Munich.

BTW Shiva last night was great!
