Now that Jimbo is safely out of the door and out of harms way I just thought I'd mention that AM has told me offline that it's definately on. I'm gonna try and make it myself, but won't know about my work situation till tomorrow abo. Hopefully see you guys there.

Don't worry, as Stubbles pointed out, it's still going ahead.

For those who haven't been for a while, make sure you try out the new chilli nan bread - it's great!

hahaha i turned up uninvited yet again. I am the devil himself, turning up only to prey on groups of 9 happy curry eaters and increase their numbers by 3. Such audacity deserves to be rewarded - however it wasn't and I just served to delay the food a while - later I atoned for my sins and lay belly-up until about 1:30am before I digested any of it.
By the by: The Tandori Tikka Masala was excellent last night: just right. Yum.
I vote we turn up at 20:30 next time. Its not as if we can't order for Aquantic ahead of him getting there. What about a list with advance orders for those arriving late??? French bloke normally orders the worst thing on the menu (NEVER order the same thing he orders) - so he would also be easy to order for...
So waddayasay? 20:30 + Vindaloo (Aquatic)+ tasteless brown muck (for FrenchBloke)+ 2 chilli naans + 2x helles. Sorted.

Hey Gen ... Kevin here.
Thanks for the article, I would definitely agree with what the article has to say.
It also reminded me to check out NPR radio broadcast as you mentioned. I've always like NPR ... swings from interesting informative story to many wacky stories that seem out of place on the station, all done in a soothing voice that'll put you right to sleep if you're tired.

Turn up at 20:30? An outrageous suggestion that flies in the face of common decency.
I'll be writing to my MP about this.

Don't quote me songs ducks. You don't go anyway...
Was only kidding about bringing it forward - it would only annoy the main guests... the rest of us just drift in and out.
It ain't broke - so don't wrap it up in sellotape (scotch tape for the US-minded).

It was excellent curry, and the Chili Naan was as advertised (and sehr, sehr scharf!). Thanks for setting this up, AquaticMerangue.

Anyone up for a beer at 8 or earlier tonight (28.04) ?
Will check this space at about 6pm - and if noone wants to join me (what a surprise), then I'll go and stuff my head in a bucket (of cold water).
Please save me from my (inevitable) fate...

I'll come! check your pms!

OK, I'll be in the usual pub at 8 for pre-curry drinks.
See main curry link above for pub name (gewürz-something).
Will be passing the bucket around...

Apparently people don't know that they can remove themselves from the curry registration page after they've signed up.
Here's how:
1. Type in your username and password.
2. Press the "cancel" button.
Simple as that. Although perhaps not very intuitive...
I guess the same goes for the cinema sneak registration, and any other event registration page that Editor Bob creates...
Editor Bob is quick -- he's changed the button so now it says "Un-Reserve"! Three points for improved usability!

I won't be able to make the curry this week (I know, shock horror!). It's just a one-off though; I'll be back in Vindaloo action next week.

Is there going to be another
curry night next week?
I have not been to one but would love to come along. I have also never tried the Sitar, which must be classed as a deadly sinn, since the general opinion seems to be that it is the best curry house in Munich (although from my experience that isn't hard to achieve).

Yes, it runs almost* every week - see you Wednesday!

Did anyone lose some lipstick ("Manhattan Lips2Last") at the

I already asked the girls who were there and it isn't any of theirs. Any of the boys want to claim it?

Note: Sangeet (not "Sitar" where we usually go!)
Everyone welcome. But to ensure we reserve a big enough table with the restaurant, please indicate you are coming via this form:
