Glad I came again - was a great night! Had lots of beer... but not regretting it as much as the guiness drinkers

And, some were introduced to the delights of hugging trees! Trees round there were a bit skinny, though, but good for tree hugging beginners. To say I hadn't planned on staying out late 4am is quite an achievement! Looking forward to the curry event next week

A couple of months back I'd never have imagined that TT curry events could be like this.
I agree. What do you think has made more and more people sign up for Curry Nights? Simply food & beer? Post
curry night write ups? Photos of our fun?
The opportunity to mix and mingle has made the nights much more enjoyable and yesterday the chance to actually sit outside made it even more fun!
As for the food... there were many delays, but the hotness was good (though taste average) and the naan bread and poppadoms were among the better Indian restaurants. In all a very good night out.

Thanks to those who organised the night. Boyfriend and I had a great time 'cos of great company and good food

. Not sure the curry really agreed with me

but was pretty good the next day, so we will definately come along more often. Great photos IW - thanks for putting those up. I think the reason that so many people come to the curry nights is 'cos it is a sit down event and people can't get away from you if they want to eat their meal

. Thanks again for a great night

NO !!!

Can't believe you have to babysit on this special day of the week. How inconsiderate!! Can't you drug them and leave them under the table until you are ready to leave? Noone will notice and noone will kidnap them (we'll be using them as foot stools)

Actually after today I might just drug them and throw them in the river

ummm...I mean tuck them into bed and sing them a nice sweet childrens song to help them sleep...
I might try and show up late...but no guarentees

People don't sit around at one place at Curry Nights anymore. CNs have eveolved into miniature paries recently. You have your place but you also go around and mingle with others so by the end of the night you pretty much know most of the crowd. Its a very good opportunity for newbies to ease themselves into the TT cult in a friendly, less noisy ambiance. Newbies are especially invited so just come along.

Those who show up that late has to buy a round of drinks to everybody. J/k. On normal curry nights it doesn't matter when you show-up cuz you order your own food. Tomorrow's is more like a buffet so can't guarantee how much meat will be left especially with BadDoggie around

I'll have to catch you guys next week since I don't eat lamb (still haven't gone totally to the dark side of meat eating).
Next Thursday Chris04 will be back. She unfortunately couldn't get a flight for Wed. So I'm going to plan a Thursday

WG, if you eat beef, you should love lamb. Biryani is best with lamb. Sorry we couldn't have chicken this time.

@roots, I know, I've been able to start eating some things but I still can't bring myself to eat lamb or deer or bunnies, for instance. I like the tast of meat but still only have it about twice a month. Just a personal think, I won't want to stop anyone else. I know lots of people love lamb, I'm sure it will go great with the dish and a great evening!
