I think we should break it into 4 groups and allow them to deal with one table at a time. They feel less stressed if they have to make only 10 meals per batch instead of 40 plus staring at them.
I will go this afternoon and talk to them about how best we could handle the situation.

I'd just like to point out that codemonkey isn't going, but his name is on the list. So that makes one less.

Roots, have you checked? I can call and check with him, but it is better to have single points of communication to avoid confusion.
ashu, the guy needed a two day notice for a fixed menu because it is done differently. It is too late now.

Looking forward to tonight, should be good.
Gonna try to get there as early as poss - I did have the day off, but work just called and I have to go in and do some stuff, hopefully I will still make it for 6pm.
Thanks to Roots for organising this. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun

6783kqe, I see you're listed as going to both the regular
curry night and the alternative one. Make up your mind!

IPJ, well since 6793712692kqhihst is the only one signed up for alternative
curry night and he signed up his wife for the normal curry night. I'm guessing he's going to normal curry night.
Although I think he's signed up for the last several and not come to any, so I wouldn't be sure he's coming at all...unless I didn't realize who he was.

I'll be there. Thanks problem fixed. I got confused and thought that I hadn't signed up.

'Alternative Curry Night' has no location listed...is it a secret alternative curry night? Wow this curry stuff is so confusing...I am kinda glad I don't even like curry (although I was going to come to this one and try Tandoori chicken). 40 people (a good portion of which don't even know each other) descending upon a restaurant in Munich is like a recipe for disaster.

Can someone give me a shout on my mobile if there are any changes of plan or anything? Ta muchly

Yes, I had a good time tonight too. This week was much less chaotic than last week, with us being served by tables, more or less, instead of all at once. Many thanks to Roots for arranging that.

Yup, twas a good night, plenty of new faces including
someone (hippy!) who had a red tongue 'cos of sucking too many red balls!
Food was good indeed, I got them to do a chicken tikka vindaloo this time... interesting!

Aussie Rob, trying to get the correct hotness is very difficult. The Surahi is probably the hottest (though last week wasn't as hot as it normally is).
Photos to follow tomorrow...

Yes, I can only agree - was a great night - great people - great food (although I accidently ordered something really mild, when all I wanted was something really hot! - Next time I might have a vindaloooooooo.) Editor Bob has changed my name so no more leg pulling about being unimaginative, y'hear!

Will be there next week to sample more indian delights

Suggestions for next wednesday!
here are my two:
Ganesha , Rosenheimstrasse 113a [in Dragondale

]
or
Sitar, Robert-Koch-Str. 4, Lehel
I went to Ganesha last sunday evening, and the food was excellent. We had big ball-shaped Onion Bhajis! The Karahi Murgh was exceptional. Also large enough to fit 40+ at once. I doubt the Sitar would be tooo keen on that large a number.

Well I had a good evening too. Goes without saying really. Thanks for your efforts, Roots! Good food and loads of free alcohol at the end. And I'm not even going to start to comment on the company. Yet.
Judging by the number of people who bothered to log in after they got home last night to say how they liked it I'd say it was a fair success. I didn't even bother to clean my teeth
Right, now that I've figured out who Treehugger is/used to be I'll start doing some work.

He must have treated him well cuz the last one hour the only thing InflatableWoman talked about was P***s enlargement and how he would like his thing to extend all the way to Texas. Help me out Jeeves and Nicole cuz I can't seem to get my head around it
I thought that was even better than last time. Bringing out the food in waves was definitely a good idea. Still it would be good to try to organise a buffet next time since I'm sure that will be even better for large groups.
Sitar sounds good for next week if people want to go there.

May 19 2005, 9:04 am
Roots: "one hour" is a slight exaggeration but "all the way to Texas" is not. Otherwise you got the gist. Although I'm not sure that you're the one he wants to get their head around it.

I suggest doing
Sitar another week. Only because French Bloke is out of town till May 28th and I'm sure he'd like to be there. But since there's so many newbies who don't know him anyways, i guess do whatever.
I can't make it because the Liverpool v. Milan game is next wed. GM's it is!
