@false and IPJ
It has to be either Mughlai Murgh or Malai Murgh. If you insist that there was spinach then it is probably Murgh Palak.
Malai Murgh (very creamy)-- malai meaning thick milk cream taken from the top when milk cools down after boiling.
Murgh means chicken
Mughlai (also creamy but bit sweeter cuz there is almond or cashew paste in it)-- of Mughul empire from north India
Palak means spinach.
Now I am hungry and it is 5 AM here in DC.

Murgh Nilgiri
Zartes Hühnerfleisch mit Korianderblättern, in orientalischer Kräutersoße mit Kokosnußmilch, grünem Chili und Minze / Tender chicken in coriander leaves in an orental herb sauce with coconut milk, green chili and mint.
So we were all kinda right I guess

yup, Murgh Nilgiri is basically the hot version of Murgh Palak.

That was certainly the best curry I've had at Sitar in pretty much every respect.
No they didn't give us free schnapps this time, but we were the last people in the place (and that by a long way) so maybe they just didn't want to encourage us to stay any longer. OG left earlier, maybe that's why he was honoured with one.

Ok, I'm pretty sure that what I'm referring to is on their menu as "Murgh Muglai" (same spelling and all). It's not creamy, but minty and is served on a hot plate (like fajitas are) with potatos and veggies. It's definitely NOT a Palak - no spinach whatsoever. Anyway, I just looked up their menu, but there "Chef's specialties" section is not on the online version.

I will book for this Wednesday. After the week prior to Sitar, I would be gratefull if people could decide sooner rather than later. The "Kurzentschlossenen" kinda caused a little chaos. The reservations page closes at 5pm but i will not be able to change the booking after about 3pm on wednesday.

Natraj has one good and one bad comment. Alternatively, there is also Maharani (or however you spell it), which was suggested last week, i think, for the
Neuhausen Curry Night.
Will any of the Neushausen lot actually be going next week?

I was planning on going, not sure about anyone else.
I can't make the 26th, though

Look like a good choice for this week.
As a suggestion for a
curry night some time in the future I would recommend Prince India in
Schwabing. I've been there a couple of times and thought the food was nice.
Does anyone else like the Prince India?

@ Brigit Jones: yes sorry, this thread can get a little confusing. There is a lot of discussion about where we can go in the future. Belgradstrasse (Prince of India) was suggested as a future event in
Schwabing.
This week (19.01.04) is definately Neu Delhi, at any rate this is the restaurant i have booked...
