Draught beer at Kilians tastes of dirty laundry

at Kilians pub the augustiner draught beer has got to be the worse i had . why is it other pubs serve great augustiner beer and Kilians fails to deliver

Talk to Keydeck about that, he'd agree with you. He always orders it in the bottle and I've started doing likewise - we've guessed it has something to do with the glasses not being cleaned properly.

It's funny you two say this! I was thinking the same thing when I was there last night. Started with a draught, then switched to bottle. The draught was stinky and tasted like dirty laundry.

Yep, dirty laundry, that's exactly it. Funnily enough, I was talking to the owner of Kilians last Friday and was sorely tempted to mention the crap Helles, but decided against it. I really do think it's unclean glasses or something yucky in the draught lines.

You should mention it, then maybe they can do something about it.

I have mentioned it to the bartenders, and I know Keydeck has sent beers back before complaining of the taste. But yes, I probably should have said something to Management when I had the chance.

I heard from an inside source never to order anything there that comes in a glass. I didn't pay attention to that advise last night, and got a terrible first beer. Gross.
