Opticians in the Frankfurt / Neu-Isenburg area

Hi All,

Anyone know of an English-speaking optician/eyeglass shop in the Frankfurt/Neu-Isenburg area? I have a prescription already from the States, just need to replace a pair of scratched lenses or, barring that, buy a whole new pair.

Hi Jess,

My boyfriend goes to an optician in Main Taunus Zentrum if you have a car to get there. I was with him once talking to the optician and he seemed very helpfull and friendly. As most educated Germany speak English well I would just go into somewhere and ask if they can help you.

Thanks, Lissy. I did find one place online, Optiker Mueller (http://www.rma.de/eng-rmaweb/shopping/shopping/optiker_mueller.htm) that I intend to try out.

Just wondering, were you happy with Mueller?
I finally hit the age where the optician recommended reading glasses, so now I'm shopping for a pair.
