When does the old Kraut league start up again, and where can I reserve tickets for Bayern? I fancy seeing a game before I clear off home in October. Anybody else?
Topsy
don't know about the bayern matches, but the bundesliga started last weekend already

Crappen Munchen!!

Got to see 1860 mate, you dont need to reserve for them, there are always seats available.

And I think it is the same for Bayern, if you turn up on the day you can buy at the ticket counters.

OK, so where's a fixture list - fancy seeing a game mate? Would prefer to book online so I can choose seats, but I guess it's not too critical. And aren't 1860 a lower league side now? I'd rather see top flight football, mainly because Spurs are talking about bidding for Hargreaves to be honest and I'd like to see him play before we stump up 8m for him.

remeber that 1860 were relegated at the end of last year so they arent playing bundesliga

You can get tickets in the Fan shop in Hauptbahnhof, and there is another Fan shop somewhere else in the city where you can get them too.

it's true. first game last Sat, first home against Berlin this Sat at 3:30. Got my tix. Both teams have shops not far from the Hofbrauhaus. But I wouldn't waste your last bit of time here dicking around with 1860.. wink.gif

My last game I saw at 1860 was excellent, now I dont mean the quality of the football...that was crap, the referee had an excellent game, 3 players sent off and another 4 or 5 booked. In terms of comedy value, it was a great game.

Saw Bayern play Celtic in the Chumpions league last year, quality game, Celtic threw it away.

1860 will always be my first choice, I cant stand part time glory supporters. Though not aimed at Jimbo, if it was me going home I would at least take in 1 Bayern game before I went.

As I said, I'm more interested in seeing Hargreaves play if possible - quite a few Premiership clubs have been linked with him, tho Bayern are demanding 8m, whilst Spurs think he's only worth 5m. Personally I'd say about the 6m mark, but I would run to 8m if I were Arnessen - we need a midfielder, and whilst not dazzling he's a solid talent.

you cant spend 8mil on a canadian...not unless he's an ice hockey player

pointless.

Help! I am futball clueless but I have a relative coming in september who is a big soccer fan so I want to get tix as a surprise- but which of these games might be the better choice?

Sept 21 DFB Pokal
Sept 22 second round

Sept 25 BL FC Bayern -SC Freiburg
Sept 26

we can only do one day- better first or second?
