Hey everyone!
Am pretty new here, and have been meaning to join one of the regular meetups for a while - but never seem to make it for one reason or another!
Anyway, to the point - I work for Lowenbrau, and am going to the Anstich of the Starkbierzeit in the Lowenbraukeller tonight. This got me thinking, the thing opens to the public from tomorrow, and it really is a cracking night out - so it would be great to organize a night there with a group of beer loving TTers some time in the coming weeks.
Now this is a first for me, so I just wanna gauge interest, possible dates etc. Lemme know by PM.
I am sat in the brewery, so it should be pretty easy for me to sort out reservations, and who knows, maybe even some beer!!!
Looking forward to meeting you all,
Al.

Hey big_al, good on you for organising a meetup! Sounds fun. But I might suggest that people just post here if they are interested rather than PM you - it's easier to keep track of everyone, plus those who are interested can see who else might be going (which normally stokes even more interest).

Just say where and when and I will make an illustrious appearance. Holy hell, I'm arrogant.
Regardless, I'm down.
Side note: georgiagirl is a Toytown pro! Please post a link on the mainpage of Toytown listing the Do's and Don'ts...rookies like us will value it.

May i suggest something ?
Set a date and time and then people will decide if they can make it, management of meetings by consensus rarely, if ever, works.

Thanks for the input, what came first - the chicken or the egg? Tough one to answer.
Before I get bogged down with details - I just want to know if people are interested. If enough are, then I will role up my sleeves and get everything sorted - we have a few weeks time. But at the moment it would appear more people want to go rollerblading! ;-)
So bluedave, I know you are planning a trip with work, and I know you like the Fest, and I know you are keen to see a date and a time here - but sticking to my original question - would you be interested in a TT evening at the
Starkbierfest?
Cheers,
Al.

I lead a busy life. In theory I might be interested. But many days will be impossible. I, and I would say many people on this forum, will wait to signal interest until we know if the chosen date is remotely possible. General interest is probably shared by about 70 % of the registered Munich users - given that several are just double names.
So, find out how many Munich TTers there are and just work on 70 % - once you set the date of course, this figure will decrease to something like 20 to 30 people.
I'd talked with a colleague about maybe trying Löwenbräu this year - as well as the usual Nockherberg. But: does the €14-50 entry price include any beer or food?

Interested, yes. But my participation depends largely on the date, of course. Possibly with a +1.

Nope Mr D the entrance cost is for the entertainment, read my post above and it lays it all out.
Is there a date for this meet up yet??
