Recommendations for an overnight stay

Hi all,

I've got my first wedding anniversary coming up and am looking for a place for us to go - just overnight - so preferably not too far - in or around Munich, that has a spa type of set up.

I can't really do a sauna, but I would love to try something like the outdoor hot pools. A whirlpool type of thing would be great. Heck, right now, a heated pool would be heaven.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks!

Oooh- in that case, the indoor swimming pool in Ismaning does a Warmbadetag (heated pool day) on Thursdays. wink.gif On a serious note, what about the Blue Spa? Here were some other suggestions from TTers. Hope you find something really lovely. smile.gif

The Arabella Sheraton has a fabulous spa (Altira Spa). They have an indoor pool, sauna, massage, etc. I highly recommend it. I can't speak to the rooms but the hotel lobby is lovely and likely pretty pricey. But if cost isn't an issue...

I went to Der Alpenhof near to Bayerischzell. They have a wonderul spa and a gourmet restaurant. And the next day you could hike or take the train to the top of Wendelstein where "Wer frueher stirbt ist laenger tot" was filmed. I

I gave my mother a voucher once for a week at the "Sonnenhof" in Wangen, she really enjoyed it, it's not to far from the Bodensee.
