So I sampled some beer from this Forschungsbrauerei place while at the Ash's last weekend... Not bad at all biggrin.gif.

Who would like to come along on friday night to check it out?

I would say... 7:00pm for a nice early start, that way people can go out afterwards.

any takers?
thejarvii
I like the sound of the place. Seems very interesting.
flogger
you have good taste.

tis a fine drop.

the best.
Showem
Should be able to make this, barring national emergency.
Jeeves
@ chicken^tonight Good oppo to buy you a beer back. I'm a bit confused though because (a) Friday is the 13th ohmy.gif and (cool.gif it's in my nature.
Brummie
Sounds great, I will be there to see the chicken off.
VDB
sounds interresting, but I'm afraid 7pm is too early for me. U got any plans afterwards, so I can see you off properly?
chicken^tonight
Im gonna play it by ear... probably go out tho.
Brummie
tonight! anyone coming? experimental beer! what could be better?
Jeeves
Yup nothing's changed. The beer should still be good and I'm still on. 7 is late enough for me. Don't want the chicken to miss his flight.

@ showem Btw which nation did you have in mind?
Showem
German, Canadian or Australian. But so far all systems are flashing green.
oli2000
I'll be there too!
chicken^tonight
yep... sorry about the date mix-up guys. I meant friday the 13th... ph34r.gif

so! see you guys tonight then! anyone else is welcome of course, but I wont be online after 2pm so just come along.

EDIT... whats this place like? should I make a booking or just leave it?
thejarvii
I think I'll be making my way down there. Just trying to figure out how to do it by bike.
flogger
follow the sbahn trax to perlach.
thejarvii
I take it there is a path along the tracks to bike on?
DrivinWest
sounds cool. i plan on it.
CodeRed
where the hell is that? how do i get there? fool proof explanation please. smile.gif'
Showem
If the explanation is fool proof, we won't get any of the fools coming. Bad idea.

Get the S-Bahn to Perlach. It really is inside town, but the S-bahn station is the closest. Ask someone how to get to Unterhachinger Str.
Text:
You: "Entschuligen Sie, konnen Sie mir sagen wo Unterhachinger str ist?"
Them: Point left, show a right turn, point left again.
You: Danke!

You then walk according to these directions to Unterhachingerstr, it's a little less than one kilometer, so a 5 minute slow walk. You will at this point be probably north of the needed location, so walk south. It's Unterhachinger Straße 76.
electrobuzz
Alternatively, u can find the way by using the utility in MVV. Use the address option for ur destination and when u the connections are shown with the timings, click the haltestelle icon, and u'll get a pdf showing u the exact way to get to the street from the bus stop. smile.gif
VDB
ok, looks like i wont be working that late after all so might drop by. Will be a little later than 7 though...
interplanetjanet
Perhaps I'm a bit to late to catch anyone...

If my hubby and I decide to go, how will we recognize y'all? Just follow the English?
Showem
Best bet. Or look through the galleries and memorize all the faces in the off chance that someone will be there.
interplanetjanet
Howzabout I just memorize yours. wink.gif Actually, I'm still not sure if I can convince him to head out there...
Showem
Pictures are now online in the galleries in a strange order and with duplicates (couldn't delete).
Jeeves
Yikes the Jägermeister! Made me ill just watching him drink that. Probably made him happier to leave though.

The lucky person is back in Queensland now and probably wondering if Toytown was just a dream.
