My husband and I were in Munich almost 2 years ago. The first day we arrived our "clock" was off, so we woke up at 2am starving! The concierge sent us off in a cab and instructed the driver to take us to a bar named "Fischer Strubel" (I'm likely not spelling that right!) It was a small bar - hours of operation were 5pm to 7am daily. As it was our first night in Munich and we didn't speak German, we basically pointed to the table next to us where a couple was enjoying what appeared to be a slab of wood with a pile of ribs on it. So, we ordered these ribs and a couple beers . . . . and I have to say - the ribs were FANTASTIC!
Well - we are returning to Munich for 2 weeks this summer - and I'm trying to find out where this bar is so we can swing by again. Can anyone help me identify it?
Any assistance is much appreciated!
