NRW Grundschule certificate acceptance in Bavaria

Well, as I've posted this question under the general family section without much success (Recognition of school reports between states), I thought I'd try posting here - just in case anyone may have an answer.

Basically, if at the end of the 4th grundschule year in NRW (or any other state in Germany), a child has the marks/recommendation for a place at gymnasium or realschule would this also be accepted in Bayern ?

From the bits and pieces of info I have gathered, it seems that the certificate/recommendation might not be completely accepted in Bayern: the kid would have to do some kind of test ?

Anyway, I'm not really sure about this so if anyone has any experience or advice about this it would be really helpful.

I know this is good for foreigners getting their qualifications recognised and as Bayern seems to regard the rest of Germany as a foreign country, at least as regards schooling, they may be able to help.

Thanks for the information about this office - I guess I'll have see whether the Bavarian authorities accept the certificates from that other country - NRW !
