East German women are only interested in money

You do misunderstand something, I don't want their dosh, couldn't care less as have my own, but I do not like stingyness. For example I once knew some Brit here who would bring me a pint of friggin beer when out with him in the club and then telling me before I could even say thank you that the next one is on me. He did this all the time and one time when I had enough of this tight*ss I told him to shove this friggin pint right up his a** if it is not too tight for that, hehe. When I buy a drink for my mates I do not pester them or tell them that they must now buy me something, or is that some English manner??haha. Of course I would have bought the next one but this constant telling me what I have to do went on my nerves especially as it was only a friggin pint, I think he must have been paranoid as the chicks in London are materialistic and the chav chicks here need like 20pairs of stilettos and 4 wardrobes of clothes.
I had to chuck this dude as that went too much on my nerves, I told him directly that I cannot stand a character like this and good-bye, see ya later. Then he tried to persuade me to stay together and that he would like to invite me on some holiday. Oh my god, he just didn't get the message that I didn't want anything of him, no money or anything else but his friggin attitude went on my nerves.
It is a disgusting character trait stingyness especially in men very unsexy.

Ok, "Chinese men" I said here means Chinese guyes in PRC, not including abroad Chinese (I have no idea about them).
I have to admit that I was a bit exaggerated by saying "most generous". But most of them don't mind buying dinner or drinks for women., even at their first meet. (For this, you may conclude Chinese women are a a little spoilt)

And what I said above doesn't mean that I think men are supposed or have duty to pay. Since the word of "generous" is not deleted from dictionary and here someone mentioned this word, so I assume we can talk about it, right?

In a realiosnhip, paying in turn sounds much nicer than go dutch, at least to me, it let me feel we're close and it's sweet.

And, I don't think HerMajesty is that kind of woman who wants take advantage from men.

East german women - very dangerous - be warned. I should know I am an east German women relationship survivor and a hurricane survivor. Both were very similar in nature in that they both started with a big blow job and ended we me loosing everything - inbetween is just a blur to me now.

Easy answer bloke, tell her you'll think about it but in the meantime you need some "pleasuring"! When she eventually rumbles you for your indecisiveness/stalling her on the issue, tell her politely that you don't think it'll work out. Sometimes you can date a girl like this for many months, sometimes years if you are a good actor

You'll never see the money again, this is a wind up right? East Germans are 'different' and lots of them are very hard up and don't appear to have any clus about how to get a job or compete in a market economy, which is hardly surprising. West Germany is so much more like the UK.

I guess the only women the original OP has met are east German then.

I know a couple of East German folks (colleagues, et al) and I could see the difference in attitude and other things (when compared to Bavarians). They dont look or behave like the way OP claims to be, but sometimes on some casual occasions, they seem to be throwing away themselves.

Also, sometimes they talk without inhibitions. There were a couple of conversations that I'd with 'em and when they said something straight (asking something about my private stuff), my other Bavarian colleagues were kind of shocked (more than me..haha).

And one more thing that I observed is the way Bavarians (or West Germans - specially men) consider or treat East Germans (women). They think that East German women are easily available for a f*** (which aint true with all) and keep chasing 'em (or looking) for that. And they call 'em as "Ossies" (sounds something like 'Aussies') and some do still think (or have in mind) that there is a wall in between East and West. Strange are the ways of the world..!

Not really. We expats dont know (aint biased) about the differences between East and West before coming here. Most of 'em just blame Germany... and inside Germany, its between East and West (or North and South). Thats how it is (So ist das).

And I thought this was expats bitching about East german women.

I'm a Brit and I hate that system as well. The continental way is much better, everyone orders the drinks they want rather than being forced to consume more than they want, and having to pay for people they don't like.

The brit system is usefull when there are a few of you and everybar is full of people.

You buy in rounds so everybody doesnt have to queue at the bar and it stops the annoying thing of the first person back finishing their drink and vanishing to get another one.

I much prefer the continental way as FC says, you drink how much you want and you pay for it.

It is also brought to your table for you, fantastic idea. However this works as people tend to stay in one place or only go to a few bars. In my part of the UK most of the tables in bars vanish at around 7pm (or at least the chairs do) as you can fit more people standing than sitting around a table (if the tables goes as well, even more).

Its a system designed (along with rolling glücklichestunden :-) to move poeple ater only a few drinks to maximise customer turnover.

I find it annoying and it after a certain point its impossible to get a drink in a decent time.

The British system is the best when with fellow Brits, as they should know the drill and so it makes things less complicated. Otherwise you're just wasting your time and money. I don't feel so rude now if I march up to the bar and just buy myself a drink. Fuck it, everyone else seems to do it. It's not even a question of money, as I'm not short of a bob or two, but it's actually a nice British etiquette to buy someone a drink back.

As for East German women, don't get me started West German women however...

guys are only interested in sex, admittedly including myself, so why blame them for trying to get what they want?
