Money orders and cashier's checks

I need to make a payment on something in the States which requires a money order or cashier's check. Is there such a service here? Can I do it at any bank?

There have been problems with scams on international money orders. So, most American banks won't accept them.

Your best bet will be either to paypal the money to a US account, or to send it via Western union or Moneygram. I think moneygram is cheaper. You may have to send it to someone you know and then have them get a cashier's check for you there.
