TT meetup Fasching Tuesday 20.Feb.2007

Last year we all met at the fishy fountain and then moved over to VMarkt followed by Kilians and was a great day.

There's pics in the gallery and a thread somewhere, think IW organised it last year.

Remember :-

Warm clothes and good footwear.

A bag full of booze cos otherwise you have to queue for weeks at the beer stalls and pay fortunes for it too.

Apart from that maybe earplugs if you are stood underneath the huge speakers they hang from a crane.

Is there going to be a tt get together? I wanna go but dont think I would dare it alone..

What I like best about that map is how you can see the nucleus that became Munich, the ring still visible behind St. Peter's towards Tal where the first city wall was. As I will be working in my U.S. based company I will not join the infiltrated, indoctrinated and intoxicated crowd. Have fun!

might try and join you lot in Kilians after work - although soberly entering that place to search out battered TTers dressed as god knows what lessens the appeal somewhat.

Though I guess there'll be easy pickings to be had...

I'm keen as well as few people here at work, but 1pm is too early most likely. We might show up at Kilians later.

I'll have my son and heir with me, so just be gentle with him, especially any TTerins coming down

Is it Faschingsdeinstag or Fasching Dienstag?

I can only imagine that it's Faschingdienstag seen as words seem to glue together quicker in German that a bullet out of the back end of a bat out of hell (to quote the Cat from Red Dwarf).

If you think it's early this year pull out your old diary from two years ago and stand agog as you realise it was on the 8th Feb!
