Hi all:
I am a non-EU citizen, IT Consultant. I would like to ask the experienced people
in this forum which would be the best bet to find a job in IT in Germany or
Swizterland. This is what I have done : Tried internet search on job-sites, made
some phone calls, got some interviews, and good opps.
But always found the "work pemit" issue or a valid EU-passport required.
I am really want to move but i have this stone in my way.
Does anyone know a good workaround or a good tip about this. or anyone
who has done this road before.?
Thanks a lot for your replies.!

If there's company which really is willing to hire you they can provide some help with your work permint. In any case, if you get an offer with a contract you only need your work contract to apply for a work permit. However you must be in Germany, no one is going to hire you being in south america to bring you here. It's just too expensive, unless you have some very unique talent. I've lived here for a couple of years now, I did a graduate degree here and now work at a large IT-related company. Check with your local german consulate what are the requirements for a citizen of your country to receive a working permit in Germany, look if it's possible for you to come over here as a tourist for 90 days and in that time look for a job, secure a contract and get a work permit. That's about I can tell you. There are no special work arounds that I know of, you need a work contract and then it goes from there. If you speak german probably your chances of getting a job are higher. Good luck.

Thanks Panama:
I was thinking about travelling to Germany/Switzerland to make "job-tour".
I just wanted to know how difficult is to find and apply for a job with
a tourist visa (¿?). Anyway that's a good start I think.
Thanks for your reply.
