Concert: The Decemberists

FYI, The Decemberists are playing Wednesday night at Postbahnhof/FritzClub (Straße der Pariser Kommune 3-10; S Ostbahnhof DB) with Lavender Diamond, festivities to start at 20:00. I think I have dinner with a colloquium speaker that night, but in case anyone else is interested...

do u have or know anyone with an extra ticket? i love the decemberists and just waited too long to buy mine...if u know how to get a ticket please call me!!!

Dang, I didn't realize shows at Postbahnhof sold out. Sorry, don't have any leads on tickets. (Did you check whether they're saving some tickets to sell at the door?)

That sucks...I just found out that I would be in town on Wednesday (was lamenting the fact I'd miss the Decemberists twice in a year).

Really dig the Postbahnhof. It's great to see some of these bands at such a small place...

Might roll down to Postbahnhof anyway to see if they are selling at the door.

Whoa they are in town tonight? I am here. How easy is it to buy scalped tickets here in berlin? I have never tried.

I saw them last night in Hamburg and it's the first time I've been at a gig where I saw people looking for tickets and no one selling. Was a small venue though so maybe you might have better luck in Berlin.

Great gig and Lavendar Diamond were good as well, the lead singer is very quirky!

Where'd they play in Hamburg? I saw TV on the Radio there last year at the Kunst. Absolutely loved the venue (as well as the concert).

I don't think the concert tonight is sold out. They still have the AK ticket price (17 Euro) listed on the Fritz Club website. I will be going to check it out around 7 (the Clap Your Hands concert ended up selling out around 7:30). If you would like to join, let me know...

Yeah, gig was in Knust. Nice little venue.
Missed Clap Your Hands here at the weekend, friend who went said it was one of the worse gigs he's ever been to!

Clap Your Hands was not good. Cold War Kids (who opened) was really good though...too bad they were the opening and not the headlining.
