Tips on what is available in Munich

Back in Canada, I used a DIY dry cleaning product called Dryel. To sum up this product quickly, you can clean those DRY CLEAN ONLY garments that you have using Dryel and a clothes dryer. I found it worked great for my 'dry clean only' clothes that I wanted to freshen up (never had any major stains on them *knock wood*) and it sure beat the trip (and the price) of going to a dry cleaners.

Anyone know where I can find this product or anything similar in Munich?

It used to be sold here but was discontinued about 5 years ago, sadly. It was fantastic for getting smoke smells out of cashmere, in fact I might still have a box in a cupboard somewhere...
Febreze and airing will help a little, but Dryel is no longer sold here. Try looking at the P&G website for sales information.
You can get spot cleaning products like Ariel Pocket though.

The missus had us on a constant hunt for Dryel products for the last part of 2006. It became my white whale. I've checked most of the major stores and have consistently come up empty. Thankfully, we stocked up on our last trip back to the States.
