Hi everyone!

I am a noob to this forum and to Berlin. I've been here for a bit over a week.

I'm wondering, does anyone know where there are some box offices where I can buy some tickets from to see rock concerts and classical concerts? (I don't want to buy online.)

Cheers.

If you do not wish to buy online then there is a ticket box office that sells them in Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse that I have used before. You cannot miss it coz it is covered in advertising posters.

There is probably one in Zoo and Hauptbahnhof too, but i have never used them.

There are a bunch of ticket agencies around the city. I forget the names of all of them except HEKTicket, but I imagine one of them has an outlet close to you. Note that while the nominal price of tickets bought in advance (Vorverkauf or VVK) is cheaper than those bought at the door (Abendkasse or AK), there's typically a fee comparable to the price difference. So the major advantage of buying in advance is the convenience of not having to wait in line when you get to the show. And of course if there's a danger the show will sell out.

ETA: there are at least two ticket offices at Alexanderplatz as well. Don't know whati's in Schöneberg; perhaps look around the Südkreuz station?
