I just found out that Nayekhovichi, a Russian Klezmer band that I saw last August (both on the street in front of Hackescher Markt and later at an actual concert in Kaffee Burger) are back in town this Friday (9.Feb). They're playing at Rodina (http://rodina-club.de/; Holzmarktstr. 5-9; S Jannowitzbrücke) with Daniel Kahn of The Painted Bird and DJ Yuriy Gurzhy (who I think has something to do with Rot Front, Russendisko and/or Shtetl Superstars). Tickets are €6 and the show starts at 22:00 (I assume that's the nominal time for Daniel Kahn, with Nayekhovichi to follow and then the DJ afterwards).
