Is today a holiday in Berlin?

Hi there - I've been trying to get through to a client and our local office all morning on phone and email but no-one's picking up or replying.

I immediately ruled out that they're ignoring me, coz that just wouldn't happen, right so my next thought was it must be some holiday up there that we don't get in Bavaria - I dunno, "Annual Trabant appreciation day" or something.

Can anyone confirm this? Nobody here in my office has a clue

It could be that it is your clients birthday and they are all drinking sekt to celebrate.

It's the Berlinale, Lassie. I haven't gone to work since Monday; I've been haunting all the ticket sellers to get everything I want. And it ain't easy scoring tix -- big lines, even in the non-Potsdamer Platz ticket venues!
