Been looking for one of these for ages... smile.gif

Which budget airline flies to Nice? Which budget flight can I get from Manchester? There are numerous no-frills airlines offering cheap flights between the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Holland and other European destinations for either leisure or business travel. In order to help you make your choice, WhichBudget has brought together all the routes these airlines fly to and from on one site.

Ooh what a handy site!!

One thing I noticed though, when looking, was that BMI Baby have stopped flying to Munich sad.gif Was handy visiting people in Bristol, because of their Cardiff airport. Ah well, c'est la vie.
latecomer
BMI have stopped flights to/from east midlands too unfortunately.

on this subject, i find that you can get good prices with lufthansa if you book early enough. maybe not the supercheap 5euro ryanair type flights, but < 200 euros for major destinations in europe.
Jeeves
Correct. By co-incidence I just booked Birmingham return for €165. As good as Fly-Be from Salzburg if you take the getting to Salzburg into account.

Good site for comparing direct prices though. It might even wander into my favourites.

billigerfliegen.de is a pretty good one.

the best website I have ever seen for this is www.skyscanner.net - go to the map section, click on your start city and your destination, and the website will tell you exactly which low cost airlines fly that route and provide hyper links to their websites.

Someone posted a great cheap flight search engine on here a few months back which I cannot seem to locate anymore. Not www.whichbudget.com but one with a white background. Twas great: Anyone got it bookmarked?

Hi, if you want to fly beyond Europe, I found this site: www.skyways.de. While I met with high fare, no seats etc. for the Christmas period, www.skyways.de had seats, on British Airways, and at least half the fare provided by a TT highly recommended travel agent!

In the end, however, www.ltur.de beats all hands down. That's where I got my ticket to fly home for Christmas! WOO-HOO!
NOFXmike
www.skyways.de came to ~550 or so to chicago and back...where expedia for the same dates gives ~430 ...and expedia shouldn't be the best...
samy
Lovely site. Just now booked a trip to Rome 75 € return.

I recently needed to book two flights:

One this month to Graz, Austria.
Next month to Copenhagen.

I search many sites to find good prices. By far www.opodo.de offered the cheapest tickets. Cheaper indeed than the airlines themselves.

Test;

Stuttgart — Copenhagen return:

Outward: 16.02.2006
Return: 21.02.2006
Carrier: SAS/ direct
cost: 165,19 (e-ticket).

Note; There are no billigflugs from Stuttgart to Copenhagen.

Useful, easy and quick:

www.skyscanner.net

Even finds you the cheapest day to fly from current offers...

Try joining the military, you don`t get more no-frills than Transport Command, RAF. Bog-awful packed lunches and it`s more comfortable sitting on the wing than inside, being frozen and deafened by the hydraulics and going for a piss/shit half-way up the ramp of a Hercules is a thing of joy to behold. But only if you like that sort of thing. blink.gif

Newer site, that also has good prices:

www.fly.de

Does anybody know of any budget airlines flying between Munich and Gothenburg in Sweden? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
grazzenger
skyscanner does tend to be uk focussed i've found. sure it'll give you a lot of international flights from munich but it does miss some airlines, eg fly nordic from muc to stockholm arlanda.

superdude, as my wife's swedish we fly up there pretty regularily but i've not come across one direct to gothenburg.

FlyNordic do Munich to Stockholm if that helps. Alternatively Sterling do Munich to Copenhagen I think
