Good areas to stay in Prenzlauer Berg

Hi,

a friend and I are coming to Berlin for a week and have decided to base ourselves in Prenzlauer Berg. Can anyone recommend any areas? We'll probably rent private accommodation. We're looking for something relatively cheap and near the action, pubs, clubs, cafe's, blah blah.

I checked some websites and we were offered a few flats in part of Prenzlauer Berg such as Gleimstraße, Rodenbergstraße and Esmarchstraße. Are these parts OK? Are some parts quite rough, as they are pretty cheap?

go for Gleimstraße or Rodenbergstraße, both would be fine for a week.
