A new exhibition at the Neanderthal Museum in Mettman near Düsseldorf, entitled "100,000 Years of Sex" kicked off on February 3rd, commemorating 100,000 years of sex. According to the
Spiegel, the exhibition addresses a variety of themes including changes in sexual attitudes towards marriage, homosexuality and pedophilia. It inspects the various sexual practices of cultures from the Stone Age up to the 19th century. With over 250 exhibits from over 60 European cities, you'll have more than enough to keep you entertained.
"Highlights include a 28,000-year-old phallus and the oldest condom in the world"... not to mention an array items ranging from dirty drawings etched into clay pots and an "anatomically correct" Neanderthal in the buff.
The exhibition is scheduled to run until May 20th.
