kyllmann
Hello all,

just wanted to introduce myself real quick. Grew up in Berlin, spent some time in Hamburg, married an American, spent ten years in the US. Recent developments promted us to move our family back to Germany, this time Moers, just to keep things interesting. Professional background: advertising, printing, design, web development.

Oh, and I have a hard time finding my own typos, so bear with me.

Welcome to TT, Kyllmann. Don't worry about the typos. Their are plenty of people hear who will be happy to point out you're errors four you.

Welcome to the Addictive maddness.
Like JJ said, don't worry about the spelling, it keeps certain people busy. laugh.gif

Thanks -- I'm looking forward to their input already. And here I thought pointing out people's mistakes was a German specialty wink.gif I must say that after 10 years in the US, I have developed kind of an outside perspective on my fellow countrymen. But that's another thread...

Hi kyllmann, and welcome to the Melting Pot of Ex-pats. Do I dare point out that we refer to people who pick on others' minor spelling or grammar errors as "Grammar Nazis"? You will just have to deal with this Anglo-American sense of humor. Moers - do you have wine there, or is it too far north?
kyllmann
Hi sarabyrd, that Anglo-American sense of humor is exactly what I came here for. And yes, we're too far north for wine, Moers is left of Duisburg, within spitting distance of the Netherlands. And as far as I know, the Dutch are not exactly known for their wine... It probably could be done, but I hate to think what it would taste like.
