Looking for a quiet meeting place

Don't know if this is the best category for this request, so the mods can move it if necessary.

I'm looking for somewhere to meet someone for a private English lesson near Ostbahnhof. Is there a cafe or restaurant that someone can recommend for us? Not too noisy, open during the day (14:00) be good if we can just have a drink there too, not food.

And does anyone know if car parking is difficult in the area during the day?

Thanks all for any suggestions.

Parking in that end of town is pretty bad. You could try going to Julep's
It gets a little busy during lunch, and after 17h00 (popular happy hour).

In the afternoon it's a nice place with lots of tables. They certainly won't mind if you don't order any food during the afternoon .. and you can stay for the free nachos when your lesson ends and happy hour begins.

Good luck on parking!

Just round the corner from Juleps on Orleanstrasse(Just down from the Stadt Rosenheim hotel past the computer shop) is a Bavarian place called the 'Brunheim' its not a bad place and is usually always quiet inside, plus theres plenty of space to put yourself out of the way of everyone, so you can teach relative peace.

Hiya!
it's a bit further from Ostbahnhof, but... the café/bar thingumy at Forum der Technik. The staff are very friendly, they don't force you to eat, it's generally nicely quiet, no loud music or anything and they have sofas in there. I meet up with my study group there, it's perfect. Don't think parking would be too good though.

About a mile south of Ostbahnhof, Auerfeldstr. 18, there is the Tassilogarten. Quite nice pub, inlcuding medium size Biergarten. Ample parking is usually available at the Tassiloplatz around the corner.
