Apartment rental advice for Munich

Dear tt members

I am moving to munich to start a new job in April. Can anyone offer advice and experinces of a place to live. The amount i should be paying for a 1-2 room apartment (warm).
not to far from the city centre.
I want to spend about 600 euro per months is this plausable?

I am 30yr old professional male

Any advice and help recommended.

I am in the UK and having to try and arrange everything from here. I also look forward to meeting many of you on the tt meetups.
