If
people from Ismaning (wherever that is) can meet up for parties, I think I have the social obligation to jazz up
Lehel!
Who else live around Lehel and would like to meet up for drinks+food and then rev-up the amps to annoy the poodles and the old-ladies wearing their poodle's fur?
UPDATE: add your name to the
sign-up sheet if you plan to come

Well, according to the
TT Munich member locations map, there are 14 of us living in
Lehel. More than enough to cause some trouble.

However, these
meetups generally work best when you just pick a time and place and invite people to join you. For example, I know fellow Lehel resident
mrbrain is a fan of the
Tattenbach, while I'm always a sucker for a whisky over at
Roosevelt. When did you have in mind to meet up? And do you have another location you prefer?

Tatenbach is nearer to my place, but
Roosevelt (according to my guide) has great cocktails. Cocktails it is then! From the outside, it looks swanky.
As for when? Well I need cocktails during weeknights to help me get over the fact that I actually have to work to live. So I would prefer weeknights. What about next Tuesday, 6th Feb?
I am up for weekend night out as well, but this weekend I am still in the midst of moving my stuff into my new apartment, and unpacking boxes...

Good news:
Tattenbach and
Roosevelt are within about thirty seconds walking distance of each other. So no worries there.
But I'm game for Roosevelt. The only problem with next Tuesday is that it conflicts with
Toytown Tuesday, which you might also want to attend since you're new and would probably like to meet as many people as possible. But then again, I am game for a TT Tuesday splinter group as well.
It's your call. You're the organiser

While trying to recover from your last remark (anyone with a moniker like yours cannot be shy) let me give you another hint: Drop by
Roosevelt's, make a note of their happy hour and advertise the meetup. As gg said, suggest a date and time (after having consulted the Holy TT Calendar) and see what feedback you get. When you have a few confirmations reserve a table or two under Toytown. Advertise again. Post a link to the website (which still had prices in DM last time I looked), mention some of the cocktails.
I work around the corner and would be up for an after-work/pre-dinner drink or so.
EDIT: (Damn, I am slow today. Most of the above is now redundant.)

A large selection of malts is also available and the bar apparently boasts one of the biggest selections of Rum in Germany.

No conflict of interest there, since the happy hours stop at 20H at Roosy, we could totter to the "another engagement" when blood-alcohol level is on the high side... No?

I've very nicely asked the mods if we can get a signup sheet. I am happy to make reservations, as
Roosevelt is a small place and we'll definitely need to book tables in advance - which I can only do once we get an idea of the numbers.
