The U-Bahn Pub Crawl Thread!

Some ‘orrible unwashed anarchists that I know of in London have a regular thing called the Circle Line party.

They get on a train and party, with drinks, music and stuff and have a fun time. Even the commuters tend to lighten up a little and as they keep quiet in the stations, they usually get a fair bit round before the police come and turf em off.

Sadly, there is no Circle Line in Munich and I doubt VERY much that many Germans would join a spontaneous party on the U-Bahn.

BUT, what about a mass U-Bahn pub crawl?

Station to station and we go for a drink in a pub at each stop?

Any takers?

each time a different line of the ubahn?

This could get very messy. Circle line pubcrawl is very hard, especially when you get to monument on a saturday - the only thing open is starbucks, but then you have handy a bottle of vodka and hey presto - vodka espresso shots.

My London friends also do the Circle line pub crawl...did it once and can't remember how many stops I managed ... only know that I was really sick next morning
In Leeds we used to do the Oatley run, stooping at every pub on Oatley road into town...same feeling on the morning after as after circle line crawl

Ahh in swansea you have the mumbles mile. Lovely it is. one mile and 18 to 19 pubs. Problem is now, most of em have shut down, its now a mumbles stumble

the othe roption someone mentioned was to hire a tram and have a TT/MDC party on it...

sounds pretty interesting! would like to try that one out.

Perhaps give the www.thecrawl.de chaps a try as well. Get 20 or 30 peeps to show up and do it in style.

Surely there are enough men to split amongst you gals...no men hogging necessary Although it sounds like there is a story or two there that we are missing...

Hiring the tram would be fun but it can be expensive if you go for the full works and we'd need to make sure enough people came. I have a ween nightmare about getting caught out between toilet breaks though. I heard a horror story of there being such a queue at a toilet break that the real trams were backing up cos the girls coudn't finish in time!
