Anyone have any great ideas for Friday night? We are new to Munich, so don't really know the scene yet. We were thinking of a jazz or blues club and beers. Anyone have any reccomendations for tonight or another night?

tonight's easy, come with us to the wine tasting then to Enchiladas

meeting 7.30, wine tasting of the 30 best german wines, then onto enchiladas for cocktails and burritos etc...

I just PM'd you 3 numbers, we are all there tonight so give us a call if you can't find us.

otherwise don't worry, there is always something on! Canuck is apparently planning a jazz club night to, I guess he'll post it some time..

Zoozies tonight or wine tasting... tough choice but wine wins..

Not to forget Pascoe's bash in Max Emanuel beergarden.

I have the perfect thing for you to do: Go to the Waldwirtschaft beergarten. It's a bit out of town, take the S7 to Großhesselohe Isartalbahnhof (13 minutes from Hauptbahnhof). Either take your own food or buy food there and listen to live jazz in the beergarten. It's very nice there and it's a good "Bavarian" thing to do.

Jazz good!

Waldwirstschaft...good fun but mostly swing type jazz, all perky and bouncy. Beer garden is frequented by the swanky crowd, just check the carpark on your way in. Can be pretty nasty for insects.

Mister B's...more for the jazz purist. Tiny little place and you'd better not chat when someone is playing or you'll piss off the regulars.

Jazzbar Vogler...I love this place. Top quality acts, top quality drinks and top quality service. No complaints...none.

Jazz club Unterfahrt...haven't been there in quite some time but had good fun there. Fairly spacious cavern-type place with regular jam sessions. Nice to see musicians just showing up and joining in.

I'm thinking we should hit Cafe Florian/Cocodrillo Bar sometime? It's a nice secret live music place? The bar is hidden below Cafe Florian...I was looking for the restrooms and I found another bar by mistake.
