I am a newby to the area. Would love to join if that is okay.

Great to see that people are interested!! Could we, though, try something other than the Palace of India? The food wasn't so great last time.

Short walk up Kaiserstrasse from HBF for S-Bahn, I think closer to Willy-Brandt-Platz for U-Bahn.

Taunusanlage S-Bahn stop also a couple of blocks away ... and a more aesthetically pleasing walk than theough the red light district

Wow, so many already... I'll make the reservation tomorrow lunchtime and confirm it here. Due to the size and layout of restaurant I think we've reached the point where I have to say sorry but this event is fully subscribed. I'll make sure there is another curry night on the 21st July though.

They have a bunch of tables outside that can easily be configured five to a side.

The service folks have always been very accomodating.

It's a wee bit more expensive than the average curry place, but worth it .. especially if we're sitting on the gorgeous Taunusanlage.

Indeed, you can't beat a bit of Alfresco dining... I'll check the forecast tomorrow but will only ask for outside tables if it will be a good evening for it.

Unfortunately something's come up and I won't be able to go to Taj Taj tomorrow- sorry about that. Someone else is welcome to take my place though!

In that case I would like to come with a +1 if that´s ok.

I'll also make sure my 3 working brains cells are up to the challenge of adding 14 to 9 and getting the correct answer before posting... that would of course be curry night on the 23rd July, not the 21st as previously stated.

As I have never been to one of these curry nights...how will I recognise you guys! Just don't want to look silly sitting at some random table and talking to strangers! :-/

Its a small place, we are a large crowd, and we will be talking english, possibly quote loudly. You cant miss us

Personally, I am a maladjusted asocial misfit and I am indiscriminately and equally rude to everybody. But I can assure you that everyone else is actually quite normal, pleasantly polite, and warmly welcoming to one and all. And heaps of fun to boot.

The restaurant is on the corner of Taunusstrasse and Weserstrasse. This is within a short walking distance of Hauptbahnhof, Taunusanlage and Willy-Brandt-Platz U/S-bahn stations. For those new to Frankfurt, please note that the walk from the main station can sometimes be a little colourful and those of a sensitive disposition may prefer to approach from the city side.
