Frankfurt curry night

Good curry last night- although I CANNOT get the smell of the butter curry to go away... not sure why I feel like I'm covered in it, can smell it everywhere!

This time we will be returning to a restaurant called Indigo, location of my first ever Frankfurt curry night.

It is located between Willy-Brand-Platz and Frankfurt Hbf just off the Kaiserstrasse near the original silver Dresdner Bank skyscraper.

LB, last time at Banjara was as good (IMHO) as it was before. We'll be back there again soon I'm sure.

Oooo looking at the list, it's gonnabe a busy one! Can't wait- had a look at the menu and looks quite nice! And the non-alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced...

We have our own table reserved. We are quite often set up as the biggest table in the joint. You can ask for the name under which the booking has been made, which, if Orable is doing it, will likely be 'Schmidt' (but he can confirm it later). The tried-and-trusted alternative is to brazenly walk up to the most likely table and enquire politely (in English, of course): 'are you the godless reprobates and heathen drunkards TT table?'

PS: Or you can walk into the restaurant, look suitably lost and a waiter will normally point you helpfully to the right table. Which does work. But, the last time I wrote that, it was thought that I was being sarcastic. Ok. Maybe a little dry. But I can assure you it works.

Hydridblue, I'll look after the reservation. Normally I book the table on the day before at lunchtime (unless the venue is Banjara). I'll send you a Personal Message tomorrow once it's booked.

And as for the looking lost thing- yep it works I tried and tested that method and there's usually a wave from people at the table, recognising the lost look of fear of a first timer!!

Or you could look at soem of the profiles of people that are going and then you might recognise people! The sensible way of doing it... or at least for those of us who have put real pics of ourselves on our profiles!

If my math is right we are 9 confirmed, plus 2 maybees so I booked for 12 people at 8PM.

Consequently, there's a spare place or two for anyone else who wants to come along, just post the traditional "I'm in" to let us know.

I should have called the restaurant after mittagsessen though, my brain has mischieviously sent 'mmmm curry!' notifications to my stomach.
