Watching the Super Bowl from Berlin

So I think it's now safe to plan the Super Bowl party. The 20-odd minutes of pre-kickoff ceremonies begin at midnight next Sunday night, Feb 4. I know the Old Emerald Isle in Kreuzberg (Erkelenzdamm 49, U Kottbusser Tor), where we watched the conference championships, will be open, since it's listed on their "Events" calendar. Shall we meet there? This is my first Super Bowl in Berlin, so I don't know if we can just show up at midnight and find decent seats.

BTW, the U-bahn resumes running at 4am, so one could probably just take that home after the game. Almost unfortunate for those of us who prefer the N8 to the U8. wink.gif

Good point, Dude! (RE subway service resuming at 4 am... ) I's gonna be there... fer sure! was there fer the [sorry] Chargers game, and then fer the Bears/Saints semi-final, too...

Olde Emerald Isle does a fine job... durn'd 'lil leprachauns... *G*
