Reading that makes me glad that my nails have acrylic overlays - because I'd eat them off otherwise.

Boro vs the Arse, Scotland vs. England? At the same time?
Lassie may want to sit at another table with his fingers in his ears and wearing dark glasses.
Lassie
nope, I'll sit next to you smugly pointing out how crap you are at choosing allegiences. An essex girl supporting boro and scotland! Lunacy.
Wee Mun
She only had the disadvantage of having to live in essex for a while oder?? Is she not a scottish lass?

Supporting the smoggies however is unforgivable laugh.gif
Katrina
My entire family would disown me were I to go over to the dark side. That's if they haven't already.
Plus I really love parmos and have never worn white shoes.

The whole world does not make sense, so I see no reason to be otherwise.

Anyone know what its like to watch the rugby at Mollys??

I'm on call next weekend, and dont want to be running up and down the stairs from a cellar bar checking my phone sad.gif

I'll be watching on Saturday but not sure where yet. Probably the Arc as it's nearest.
Katrina

15:30 GMT Scotland vs Wales Murrayfield

Please only white flowers at the service, thanks.
gideon
I've just been told I have to go to GMs... A break in tradition that.
pootle
Well I was gonna head to GM's on Saturday, but looks like halfway through the wales game, they are gonna start with their DJ.

Guess its gonna save money and stay at home
Wee Mun
Will be at the MacArc saturday for the duration... Come on the Jock, Frogs and Paddies!
Wee Mun
This could be a blow for the poms!!
first-time-caller
Ah wouldn't it be brilliant if Wilko couldn't play? We have a full strength team. Gonna be good on Sat.
jamie
C'mon Ireland!
Thinking of going to Shamrock myself but do ye know if they will have commentators from RTÉ?
I couldn't bare to listen to the BBC or much, much worse BSKYB for the match.

I think that's their strategy to drown out your moanful wailing during the second half of the beating game.

Back to the Arc for this weekend's games I think. They keep on giving me meal vouchers on Mondays so I need to get rid of a couple.

honeebeaz

Still, was no excuse to miss the games, had to be there wink.gif
Great pumpkin soup by the way.

does anyone know of any websites that stream the 6 Nations?

Go here: www.mediazone.com

You can watch all the rugby you want, including the Super 14, Heineken Cup, Tri-Nations, 6 Nations, Currie Cup, ANZ Cup, etc for $99, or you can pay per view for something like $4,95 per game. It's cheaper if you watch the games delayed, or you can choose live streaming or download the games to put on DVD and watch when you want to (with lots of loud mates, cold beer, and in my case, biltong). The 2007 Rugby World Cup is excluded from the $99.

Has some other sports and TV programs as well. Definitely worth a look.

No, I don't work for them.
FuzzyTony
I watched the game between South Africa and England. Brilliant. England looking more useless than ever. Final score: England - 10; South Africa - 58.

Brutal Boks Dismantle Plucky England

QUOTE
South Africa produced a brutal yet clinical display to thump a plucky England side 58-10 at Bloemfontein on Saturday scoring seven tries in the process.
England, backed by many to fall to pieces from the start, held their own for the opening quarter but eventually succumbed to the power and pace of an impressive Springbok side.
The second half followed the same pattern as the first, with England competing for a long period before the flood gates opened to allow South Africa to score four quick fire tries.

Ha, ha, England.
